Sony, Sky, BBC Worldwide, ESPN and many more all took part in a day full of insightful 3D panels October 3 at MIPCOM, discussing 3D’s implications and prospects for broadcats, production, cinema, sports and advertising. Sony also demoed one of the world’s most advanced 3D cameras. Though we can’t show you that demo here – MIPBlog has yet to be in 3D! – Dave Cowlishaw of Sony Europe explains how it works at the beginning of the “New Cinema Content” panel.
