In this series, we highlight our clients to help them build connections that count, and shine ahead of MIPCOM.
I’m a distributor for RTBF Creative. This is the distribution label of the French-speaking Belgian public broadcaster, RTBF. We offer a handful of original TV formats, around a hundred hours of documentaries, and about five hundred hours of non-scripted programs/readymades. We have short-form fiction and series, but we’re about to add a brand new Belgian series to the catalog (long-lenght). Also included in the catalog: podcasts (in French) and accessibility content (audio description + subtitles).
What are you looking for at MIPCOM?
Well, I’m very eager to reconnect with my regular contacts and share our new offerings with them. But I also wish to establish new connections with all the buyers present, from all backgrounds. I hope they will be receptive to the RTBF offer. Best way is to visit us at booth P-1.M1!
What are you bringing to MIPCOM?
I’ll have six completely new and original formats in my luggage. Created or co-created by RTBF and the Belgian independent sector. We have new documentaries covering various genres: an expedition in Antarctica, a documentary on the rise of the far-right in Europe, wildlife documentaries, and royalty content for buyers from monarchies like ours in Belgium!
What is your favourite MIPCOM memory?
My attendance at the market is still modest but already many memories come to mind when I think of MIPCOM. I love thinking about the number of attendees and companies we are, gathered in one place, working in a constantly buzzing sector, coming from all around the globe. I find it amazing. We should never get too used to it.
Hook: Do you have an interesting company news?
Of course. RTBF will be hosting a showcase during this 40th edition of MIPCOM.
Keep your eyes peeled and don’t miss the unmissable!
