The winners of the second edition of The MIP Drama Screenings were revealed in the Palais’ Grand Auditorium this evening, in a ceremony led by TV presenter Ali May. Reed MIDEM’s Laurine Garaude and Jerome Delhaye were on hand to give out awards. This year included awards in two distinct categories — for finished series and for works in progress — and from two different juries, as well as awards chosen by MIPDrama Screenings buyers.
The Grand Jury, made up of leading international showrunners and programme creators, were first up to unveil their choices:

their favourite show in both categories, via the MIPTV app. Their choices were awarded by the MIP Drama Buyers Advisory Board.

The members of the prestigious Grand Jury were: Frank Spotnitz, Executive Producer and writer (The X-Files, The Man in the High Castle); Lars Blomgren, of Endemol Shine Group & Filmlance International (The Bridge); Virginie Brac, screenwriter (Cannabis, Paris, Spiral); Ran Tellem, Mediapro & Executive Producer (Homeland); and Jalil Lespert, director and actor (Iris, Yves Saint Laurent, Versailles).
The TV Critics Jury comprised of Maureen Ryan, Chief Television Critic, Variety; Benji Wilson, TV Critic for The Telegraph; and Constance Jamet, Critic for Le Figaro.
The MIP Drama Buyers Advisory Board consists of Ignacio Barrera, Albavision; Rüdiger Böss, ProsiebenSat1; Aline Marrache-Tesseraud, Canal+; Anette Romer, TV2; and Zelda Stewart, Mediaset.
