The stars came out in Cannes this evening to officially open MIPCOM 2011. MIPBlog was there, not only for photos, but also for choice soundbites from actors Ashley Judd (“Missing”, Disney), Colm Meaney (“Hell on Wheels”, Entertainment One/Endemol), Stevie van Zandt (“Lilyhammer”, SevenOne International) and Margaret Cho (“Cho Dependent”, Beyond Distribution); and from legendary directors Paul Verhoeven (“The Entertainment Experience, FCCE) and Werner Herzog (“Into the Abyss”, ZDF Distribution).
