“Technology is completely changing us,” says Shlain, “and the way we connect with our friends.” Indeed, plenty of us can relate to Shlain’s anecdote of rushing to the toilets to check emails instead of talking to a close friend in a restaurant, no…?

April 6, from 17.35 in the Palais’ Esterel room, Shlain will give the Connected Creativity keynote presenting the film, followed by an exclusive screening of her work.

Says Shlain, “In this keynote I will explore what it means to be connected in the 21st century both personally and globally. I will also talk about how all the new technologies (twitter, Facebook, mobile phone apps) have affected the way I make films, connect with my audience, distribute my films and start a dialogue.”

Be sure to connect with her there!
