Next April’s MIPTV conference will have a new offshoot focusing on forging partnerships between the entertainment and technology industries.

Connected Creativity Forum is the result of a partnership between Reed MIDEM and mobile industry body the GSMA.

The announcement was made today at MIPCOM by Anne de Kerckhove, head of Reed MIDEM’s entertainment division (centre), with Laurine Garaude, head of Reed MIDEM’s TV division (left); and Liam Yardy, chief sales officer for GSMA.

It will bring the entertainment industry together with mobile operators, smartphone and tablet makers, console manufacturers and connected TV firms, among others.

Besides conference sessions and networking sessions, there will be a Connected Entertainment Experience Hub that will showcase new technology and interactive content.
